Add Brands

Register the product brands your store carries. Brands help organize products and make searching and filtering easier.

📌 Where to Find

Navigate to /app/brands in your browser, or click Brands under the Products section in the left sidebar menu.

📚 What Are Brands?

Brands represent the manufacturers or brand names of your products. Every product you add must be assigned to a brand. This helps with:

If your products don't have specific brands, you can create a generic brand like "General" or "Local".

📝 Form Fields

Click the "Add" button on the Brands page. A popup form will appear:

Field Type Required Description
Name Text Required The brand name (e.g., "Samsung", "Nike", "General"). Max 50 characters.
Image Image Upload Optional Upload a brand logo image. Accepts JPEG, PNG, or SVG format.

🎯 Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to Products → Brands from the sidebar menu.
  2. Click the "Add" button.
  3. Enter the brand Name (e.g., "Samsung").
  4. Optionally, click the image area to upload a brand logo.
  5. Click "Save".
  6. Repeat for all brands you carry.

Tip: Quick Add from Product Form

You can also add brands directly when creating a product (Step 6). The product form has a "+" button next to the Brand dropdown that opens the brand creation form without leaving the product page.
